The Central United Methodist Church Foundation was established in the 1960s, incorporated in 1962,
with revised and amended bylaws dtd May 18, 2003, for the purposes of supporting benevolent, religious,
charitable, educational, eleemosynary (charity support), health, literary and scientific endeavors.
These purposes benefit Central United Methodist Church of Albuquerque, Inc., the New Mexico Annual Conference
of the United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Church throughout the world.
To achieve these purposes, the Foundation relies on its Board of Trustees and members.
They provide the business and financial expertise to create a steady and growing stream of income to help
finance the many programs and missions of Central and the denomination.
Over the years the Foundation has grown significantly in total assets to over $1,000,000 in December 2015,
using a balanced investment approach thru the Texas Methodist Foundation and in the variety of planned givings
offered through the Church. The Board of Trustees and Foundation members pledge to the members of
Central United Methodist Church our best efforts to continue this necessary and meaningful service.
The Foundation offers an avenue for designating where our assets will be utilized both now and in the future.
Won’t you help the Foundation help Central United Methodist Church!
