GIFT ANNUITYThis allows you to make an irrevocable charitable gift to CUMC and, based on your age, receive a guaranteed income until your death. A Charitable Gift Annuity may be established for one or two lives and may provide significant tax benefits. |

IRA/PENSIONYou may designate Central United Methodist Church (CUMC) as beneficiary of all or a portion of these retirement assets. If you name CUMC as a beneficiary of either an IRA or your pension plan, you may be eligible for tax benefits.If you are interested in naming CUMC as a beneficiary, please contact your IRA or pension representative/administrator to obtain a change of beneficiary form. |

WILL/TRUSTYou may designate a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate to Central United Methodist Church in your will or trust, or through an amendment to your will or trust. |
PAY ON DEATHYou may name CUMC to receive the assets in a brokerage account, bank account, or savings account. If you are interested in naming CUMC as a “pay on death” beneficiary, talk to your broker, banker or savings and loan representative. |

LIFE INSURANCEYou may name CUMC as beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Also, you may purchase a life insurance policy to be owned by the Church; you would pay the premiums. There may be some limited tax benefits. |

LIFE ESTATEFor example, you may give your home to Central United Methodist Church (CUMC) before your death and retain use of the property until your death. Such a gift may give you immediate tax benefits. Acceptance of such a gift must be approved by the CUMC Trustees. |
OTHERReal and personal property of significant value may be left to CUMC; however, acceptance of such gifts must be approved by the CUMC Trustees. Such gifts may provide tax benefits to your estate. |
