Central offers many classes that meet during the week throughout the year.

Friday Morning Study

Join us for an in-depth look at the lives of our founding fathers. Not Washington, Adams or Jefferson…this 11 week study focuses on the fathers of our faith: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Author Beth Moore provides fascinating details from the lives of these patriarchs as she explores the important concepts of blessing, covenant, and promise. Begins September 10th from 9:30 am – 11:30 am, childcare provided.

WOW

Women of the Word Bible and book studies just for women. Taught by the class members. Meets on Wednesday’s 9:30-11:30am in room 301. Childcare is always provided. This fall we are studying The Five Love Languages followed by The Love Languages of God.

Thursday Noon Bible Study

Ever wondered how our Jewish Friends look at the first five books of the Old Testament?  Come study the Torah with us!’  This Fall the Thursday Noon Bible Study will look at the Torah (the 1st five books of the Old Testament) using Torah for Dummies, written by Rabbi A. Kurzweil.  Classes will begin September 16.  The group meets from noon-12:30pm to visit over sack lunches.  The formal study runs from 12:30-1:30pm.

Monday Night Bible Study

Chapter by chapter study of Biblical books. THis semester the study focuses on the book of Revelation. Taught by George & Donna Faulhaber. Meets Monday’s in the Social Hall from 6:30-8pm. Childcare is available on request.

YAC

Starting Monday, August 30th, Central United Methodist Church will be hosing a new group called the Young Adults for Christ (YAC). This group will be meeting Monday evenings at 7pm in the Youth Lounge. Activities will consist of worship, study, fellowship, devotions and mission work. Dinner will be provided. If you are between the ages of 18 and 29, come and join us.

Book Club

Quarterly study on current books Meets Monday’s once a quarter at 1pm. Childcare is available on request.
