Short Term Classes
Each year Central offers a variety of short term classes.
The following is a list of the current offerings.
A New Kind of Christianity
Are you looking for a safe place to ask questions about your faith? Do you crave a laboratory of conversation where each person is a teacher and each person is a learner? Do you need some space to discover and form deeper understandings about the important issues that shape our lives? Are you ready to be part of a group that honors the questions more than the answers? Then join us for a new bi-monthly book study! We will meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday from 5:30-7pm. Our first book will be A New Kind of Christianity: 10 Questions That Are Transforming the Faith, by Brian D. McLaren. We’ll plan to look at Chapters 1-3 on Thursday, September 16th. If you are interested in joining this class, please let Christy know by September 7th so a book can be ordered for you! Email: christys@centraltolife.org (put “McLaren Book Study” in the subject line) or call: 243.7834. |

Manna and Mercy
Have you ever wanted to really know what the Bible is about but have had a hard time getting through it? Are you interested in knowing the “timeline” of how the Bible was written and put together? Is the “big picture” of the biblical narrative something that excites you? If you answered yes to any of these questions you will want to join Reverend Scott’s fall Wednesday night Bible Study class beginning September 15 at 5:30 p.m. |
