Pretzel Days

Pretzel Day
Good Friday (April 2, 2010)

Pretzel Day is an activity day for families, filled with crafts and learning experiences. It is our prayer that this day will help children learn about the season of Lent and celebrate Jesus’ life, especially his last week (from his entry into Jerusalem through the crucifixion and his resurrection)!

Non-readers will need a chaperone to help them through the craft stations.

We call it ‘Pretzel Day’ because early Christians use to pray by crossing their arms over their chest. Pretzels are made in this same shape, as a reminder to make prayer an important part of your Christian journey!
