Our more traditional services take place in the Sanctuary. This is a liturgically based service that offers a chancel choir, organ music, and hymns. Communion is offered the 1st Sunday of the month. Jesus often spoke, taught and provoked through parables. Parables are short stories that invite the hearer to see the world in a different way – often in a way that had not been considered previously. Currently, in our Classic worship services, we will be spending some time with the parables of Jesus found in the Gospel of Luke. Each Sunday these short stories will challenge us to love God more faithfully and follow Jesus more closely. September 12: Luke 12: 22-34 |
